Thanksgiving Conflict

Well, over Thanksgiving I really didn't have any major conflicts. I wanted, no scratch that, was supposed to be in New York with my sister. But my mom shot down that plan a long time ago. She said that I need to spend time with my family, which I would be doing, but she wanted me to spend time with her side of the family. I really wasn't too fond of that idea so I decided on my only other option, go to my Grandma's house with my dad. That was my plan all the way up until I found out my cousin that I hadn't seen a long time, was coming over. I wanted to catch up on life with my cousin but I also knew my father and I needed to spend some time together because it had been so long since I last seen him. I decided to go with my dad to my grandma's house to spend time with them, then around 6 or 7 I came back home to spend time with my cousin. Other than that, I had a hard time deciding what to eat in which order but that was easily solved. I don't eat everyones desserts, I only eat certain dessert that my grandma makes because she makes the best homemade dessert. So I ate a little banana pudding my grandma made, just enough to not ruin my appitite, and took some home to eat later after I ate my main course.

Oh, the day before Thanksgiving I had a situation that could have resulted in a conflict, but I handled it properly before it escaladed into that. A movie called This Christmas came out that day and I really wanted to see it with my two bestfriends. I cleaned more than just what was asked of me so she would have no reason to say I couldn't go. I really wanted to have a sleepover because it was the first time my two bestfriends met formally and it was really important to me that we did it when we are still all 16 because one of them just turned 16 and the other turned 17 eleven days later. I called my mom and told her my plans. I told her how it was going to be the three of us and when and where the movie was at. I told her how I wanted to spend the night and that one of them had to be home at 10AM in the morning and that I would be home after we dropped her off. She had no reason to say no because I did everything she asked of me and more. Plus, I had all my information and presented it to her all together.
